Lianne Zackler, AMFT

Associate Marriage & Family Therapist (AMF 130196 )

It can be hard to see the way forward on your own. We all have these moments, but they don’t have to be alone. Through therapy, we will work together to help you see things more clearly and uncover opportunities to move through challenges, conflicts, traumas, and anxieties.

We will gain insight into how the patterns from your past impact your daily experience so that you can make clearer and more mindful choices in the present and future. Together, we will collaborate to deepen awareness, grow agency and self-worth, strengthen your voice, and make meaningful change. I’m here with you as you grow towards your best. Today, our culture and surroundings are impacting how we feel more than ever. As a welcoming, multi-racial therapist, I encourage exploration of identity, culture, and community in my work with clients.

I earned my Bachelor’s in Communication at the University of California, Berkeley and received my Master’s in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University, Los Angeles. I trained at the Maple Counseling Center with individual adults, adolescents and teens. While my background is psychodynamic, I work relationally and customize approaches to meet the needs of my clients. My goal is to provide a warm and open environment where you can learn and grow. My approach is thoughtful, authentic and direct — but also invites a sense of humor.
